Motorists traveling on State Route 170 (Edgemoor Road) in Anderson County should be aware of upcoming construction activities that will have a temporary impact on traffic.
Beginning at 6 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, State Route 170 (Edgemoor Road) will be temporarily closed to all traffic between Melton Lake Drive and Old Emory Road as TVA performs construction activities at Bull Run Fossil Plant.
The estimated duration of this temporary closure is 30 minutes and will be repeated midday.
This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Motorists are advised to expect delays and use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
