Kingston’s Duncan Mount picked up the win on the mound earlier today in Team USA’s 7-4 victory over the Dominican Republic at the WBSC U-12 World Baseball Cup in Taiwan.
Mount pitched four innings, allowing three hits and one unearned run while recording five strikeouts.
He was also 1-3 at the plate with a run scored, and is hitting .429 through five games.
The United States ends group play at 4-1 and open tournament play Thursday.
